Hello Pam & Mike,
I wanted to write to you more than a month ago. But I have been so busy as you know. The demand for a quality (shear) sharpening is high here.
I first talked to you Mike on the phone in December of 2010 . I was not even thinking of sharpening shears & scissors as a business. I wanted to learn something about sharpening so that I could sharpen my wife's shears . But once I decided after looking into all the type of ways & different sharpening systems, and having knowledge of metals & machinery, along with you being so helpful & explaining to me everything I need to know about creating a high quality sharpening. I ordered the Ez-Vex.
I received the Ez-Vex on Jan. 11th 2011 . I picked up my wife's shears (3-pairs) which no-longer cut because of previous bad sharpening’s. I sharpened them on the Ez-Vex , ( She's still cutting hair with them today) .
The Ez-Vex paid for itself and the trip out to see Pam & You after only three weeks. After the confidence you get from doing a professional sharpening it's that easy to get out there and I'm still a greenhorn.
The customer service and help I got from You & Pam was amazing. You helped me (Big) to become successful. It makes me feel good to know you. Thank you

I was super impressed with Mike Borsch nipper sharpening machine. It is simple, but effective in correcting all type of nipper problems. We will be talking by phone tomorrow about including his machine as part of the equipment line we will be providing to sharpeners. We hope to have me thoroughly trained and ready to sell and train on the machine by the Sharpeners Jam. I was really impressed by Mike's nipper knowledge

As for the teaching seminars, Mike did great! His Nipper Sharpening Machine is easy to use and well worth the investment if you're looking at targeting that market! Mike Borsch of Clipper Shack has developed a Cuticle Nipper Sharpening Machine that works great I had the chance to see this machine first hand when I went to California. It is simple, fast and does a first class job! I was impressed!!!

I'm extremely delighted with the EV-VEX system it reproduces the factory edge that the shear has when it is purchased new and these results are accomplished with minimal removal of material from the shear. This is really noticeable when doing color coated shears. Any sharpener that wants to perfect the factory edge should own the EZ-Vex system. With the training that Mike and Pam provide in person, along with the video and outstanding support when out in the field the EZ-Vex system is truly EZ to operate and a must have for any sharpener. Mike, it has been almost three weeks since I spent a day with you showing me how to properly use the EZ-VEX sharpening system. Since then I have been using the EZ-VEX on all convex scissor I sharpen and have had no problems sharpening any of these scissors. As a matter of fact, I believe the EZ-Vex does a better job than the system I was using. I also believe the EZ-Vex is easier on the scissors and will make them last longer.
I have found that by slowing the machine down I can start at the tip of the blade and stop any hesitation marks when starting at the back of the blade. I have also found that using only the black polishing compound works better than using both the black and the green.
