The Ez-Vex is the First I.D. Hone for Sharpening Color and Coated Convex & Convex Curved Shears.
Its New Design allows for the sharpener to use the I.D. of the Hone (Internal Diameter) This Creates a TRUE Convex Edge. The Ez-Vex not only puts a TRUE convex edge on the shear but our Clamp Allows a True Convex Edge to be put on the Blade Without damaging the finish of the coating on the blade. Our System also allows the clamp to pivot "if" blending is needed to cosmetically fix what anothers have done to the blade.
The Natural Physics of sharpening from the inside of a wheel is what makes this I.D. Hone easy and accurate.
A true convex edge can now be obtained without damage to the color of the finish of the scissor.

The Clipper Shack's Newly Patent Shear Sharpening system will do convex shears and bevel shears, curved convex shears and even shears that have special coatings and color to them. This system will not rub the finish on convex and curved shears. This system will also be able to sharpen shears that have a Graduated Angle/(Progressive Angle). You will be able to Sharpen Convex Curved Shears Easy WITHOUT having to put a micro-bevel on the edge. You will be putting a TRUE convex edge.
The EZ-VEX will put a convex edge on the shear from inside the Sharpening Wheel. (this is NOT a flat hone system) The Natural Physics from sharpening on the inside of the wheel is what makes the convexing easy. This system is designed for ease of use, and will be a simple design which will keep the cost of the equipment afforable.
This machine was designed for Curved , Convex Curved and Colored Scissors. The Ez-Vex will be affordable and will put a TRUE convex edge on those convex colored and curved shears.

The Clipper Shack has Young Blood in our manufacturing department.
We have one young family man who is our fulltime Machinist he is also our "son in law". The Clipper Shacks family has a "son" who has completed his 3 yr Machinist Certificate Program and is now in his second year majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
These two fine young men are being groomed for the future of the Clipper Shacks Manufacturing department.
The Clipper Shack has stability and security by making sure we keep up with the needs of the sharpening industry as it grows and we also make sure the Young Bloods coming up in the sharpening industry will have a future with our company.
